Very nice factory original gold metallic finish. Excellent original interior with rare factory bench seat that looks like bucket seats with desirable center arm rest (see pics). New headliner and new correct carpet. Excellent original door panels. Brand new goodyear eagle (expensive) radials (245/45/17) so not too low. Expensive brand new american racing wheels. Factory am/fm, ps, power disc brakes, cold factory air, stock 351 (v8) at, detailed motor. Motor has no leaks, no smoke and pulls nice. Factory optional full gauge package for better monitoring. Nice stainless, very fun to drive and multi-tasks very well. Always garaged and maintained. Drives and looks awesome. Bucket Seats✔ AM/FM

1979 ford f150 4x4 i'm considering selling my 1979 f150. It has a 300 6 cyl, 4 speed. Has 3. 54 gears and the np205 gear driven transfer case. Body has a great patina, but has numerous dents and rust. Still a solid body, but its probably not the best candidate for a restoration. Cab corners, floor pans and box have rust. Box corners are very rusty, but i welded up some pretty solid metal supports to support the rear corners of the box that are fairly discrete. Tailgate shuts nicely. Motor is tired and has weak compression, but runs pretty good once started. Motor has very good oil pressure and doesn't smoke. Doesn't seem to use much oil, but does have blowby. It is very hard to start when cold and i think it needs some carb work. Transmission shifts smooth as does the transfer case. I also used it this summer for hauling dirt and brick and it will handle a heavy load no problem. I hauled a load of brick with it this summer and discovered later that it was 4000 pounds. It barely squatted with this load. Now that being said i don't like to overload my trucks in a ridiculous fashion, but i was impressed with how well it handled the load. Steering and brakes are tight for an old truck. Has a rare tilt steering column. Passenger door panel is broken and drivers window is hard to roll up and down. Missing one radio knob and one heater cable is stuck, but its stuck so the heat sill works. Has a pretty good heater (one of the better ones i've seen in an old truck). Has mile marker lock out hubs and the quad shock front shock option. I just repacked the front wheel bearings and discovered the right front wheel hub will eventually need to be replaced as the inner wheel bearing race doesn't fit tightly into the hub and the inner wheel bearing lock nut pin for the retaining ring is broken off due to someone installing it incorrectly in the past. I have a new wheel bearing lock nut set that can go with. It should be fine to drive home as is as i torqued everything to spec. The truck also has american racing 16" black modular wheels that look halfway decent. Has 245/75r16 tires on it that all have respectable tread, but three are weather checked (one leaks air over time). One of the tires is brand new. The tires are all different brands, but they do the job. Its nice that it has 16" wheels as a person could put some nice 10 ply tires on and handle a heavy load well. I have a clean and clear title in my name. Only reason i'm selling is i have another 70s ford pickup i'm restoring and i just bought an extended cab pickup that i will be using. I'd like to get $1350 for the truck.

I'm not desperate to sell and the only reason i'm selling is because i have another 78 f150 that i use more often and i am at the point where i could really use a newer extended or crew cab pickup to haul my kids around in. I'd like to get $1500 for the truck.
